FECAL MICROBIOTA (FEE kuhl mai kruh bai OW tuh) prevents infections caused by the bacteria C. diff (Clostridioides difficile). It is used after antibiotics. It works by restoring healthy bacteria in your intestine. These bacteria help to kill or prevent the growth of C. diff.
This medicine may be used for other purposes; ask your health care provider or pharmacist if you have questions.

This medication is for rectal use only. It is given by your care team in a hospital or clinic setting.
Talk to your care team about the use of this medication in children. Special care may be needed.
Overdosage: If you think you have taken too much of this medicine contact a poison control center or emergency room at once.
NOTE: This medicine is only for you. Do not share this medicine with others.

Interactions are not expected.

Do not treat diarrhea with over the counter products. Contact your care team if you have diarrhea that lasts more than 2 days or if it is severe and watery.

-Allergic reactions—skin rash, itching, hives, swelling of the face, lips, tongue, or throat
Side effects that usually do not require medical attention (report these to your care team if they continue or are bothersome):
-Bloating
-Diarrhea
-Gas
-Nausea
-Stomach pain
