IBREXAFUNGERP (eye BREX ah FUN jerp) prevents and treats fungal or yeast infections. It belongs to a group of medications called antifungals. It will not treat colds, the flu, or infections caused by bacteria or viruses.

    Notes for Consumers: Do not eat grapefruit or drink grapefruit juice while taking Ibrexafungerp without discussing the risks with your health care provider. Side effects from Ibrexafungerp may get worse. Contact your prescriber immediately if you experience any new or worsening side effects, such as diarrhea, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, or dizziness.
    Notes for Professionals: Advise patients to avoid consuming grapefruit or grapefruit juice while taking ibrexafungerp. Coadministration may result in increased ibrexafungerp exposure and toxicity. Ibrexafungerp is a CYP3A substrate and grapefruit is a strong CYP3A inhibitor. Coadministration with another strong CYP3A inhibitor increased the AUC and Cmax of ibrexafungerp by 5.8-fold and 2.5-fold, respectively.
