Rimegepant 75mg, Oral disintegrating tablet
• Interaction: Grapefruit juice• Severity: Major• Notes for Consumers: Do not take Grapefruit juice or grapefruit-containing foods and Rimegepant together without talking to your health care provider. Side effects may get worse if you drink Grapefruit juice or consume grapefruit-containing foods while taking Rimegepant. Discuss any new or worsening side effects with your health care provider.• Notes for Professionals: Advise patients to avoid coadministration of rimegepant with grapefruit juice; concurrent use may significantly increase rimegepant exposure. Rimegepant is a CYP3A4 and P-gp substrate and grapefruit juice is a strong CYP3A4 inhibitor and P-gp inhibitor. Coadministration of rimegepant with another strong CYP3A4 inhibitor increased rimegepant exposure by 4-fold.
